Presentation opportunities for faculty and professionals, including the G. Arthur Broten Young Scholar Presentation.

All proposals and grant applications must be submitted by June 15.

Young Scholar (G. Arthur Broten) Presentation

The G. Arthur Broten Young Scholar Presentation supports faculty and professionals launching their scholarship careers. Papers are peer-evaluated, and award winners present at the conference. Papers may be issue-based, including white papers, or original research.

  • Submit your paper and CV as PDFs by June 15.
  • Notification by late July.

Do proposals have to be tied to the conference theme?
No. Theme-related presentations are encouraged, but WSKW welcomes work from all disciplines.

When will we hear back regarding acceptance?
Notifications are typically sent by July 15.

What is the connection between the Young Scholar Award and publishing in the Journal of Kinesiology & Wellness?
Awardees are invited to submit their conference paper, or an expanded version, for journal review. The process includes invitation, submission, peer review, and editorial decision. Visit the journal →

What are hot topics?
Hot topics are discipline-specific or theme-related tags attached to presentations. If your work fits a current hot topic, note this on your submission.

Important Note

Presenters who withdraw or cannot attend must contact the conference coordinator at least one week in advance. Failure to do so may result in not being invited to present at future conferences.
